Hi everyone!
My name is Sarah Chen, and I am a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant at Naju High School in Naju, South Korea. In June, I graduated from Princeton University, where I studied public policy and international affairs. I am loving my Fulbright experience so far, especially the opportunity to study Korean with 79 fellow new ETAs, my fantastic homestay family, and the welcoming students and teachers at my school. I am teaching twelve classes of first and second-years in high school, as well as the conversational English club class that is going to operate this blog for the next year.
We will blog in English every week. Some of the topics will be assigned, like this week's self-introduction, and others will be the students' choice. The aim is to practice our English and connect with readers from around the world, so thank you so much for helping us with the latter.
We hope you enjoy our writing, and please comment or e-mail us any time at najukidsintheww@gmail.com!

Truly inspiring blog, and I cannot wait to see what everyone writes. I will spread the word to all my friends in America/the world. Keep up the good work <3
ReplyDeleteHello Sarah! Seijin posted your blog on Facebook, and I think it's a wonderful idea! Thanks for starting it. I'll be reading and commenting away!
ReplyDeleteMy brother Seijin is pretty much doing my dream job. So I will comment and follow your blog vicariously taking tips and comments along the way. Excited for your project. Keep up the great work.
ReplyDeleteSarah! This is such an awesome idea. I wish I had made my students in Japan do this over the summer... but I'll definitely try to pass it on to them so maybe your students can have Japanese students learning English also comment.
ReplyDeleteI'll keep checking. I'm so excited for what else you'll be doing!!!! You're amazing!!!
