My nickname is minxing, but I'm not chinese, I'm Korean.
I was born in Korea. I'm 18 years old now.
My duty is principal of speaking English club in Naju-High School.
I want to be a stewardess. Do you know that job? Yes, a stewardess is a business woman on an air plane.
Why do I want to be a stewardess? There are many reasons for me.
First, I like meet new people everyday or everywhere. I think that's cool.
When I meet new people anywhere, I said "HI" or "HELLO". That's a first step. And we share our names and personal information.
Finally, we are friends. Friend!! How interesting!
Second, I like speaking English and learning about other country's languages. I have been learning about Japanese and Chinese a little bit.
That classes are interesting for me.My Chinese and Japanese speaking ability is not good. But my purpose is just to learn about many languages.I need experience for languages.
Third, I'm tall. Just that. That's really good merit for me. Haha :)
Finally, how about make a new friend like me? You can help me to develop my English ability. And make a good stewardess friend! How awesome~

ReplyDeleteA good friend of mine is a stewardess in America, and she loves her job. She gets to travel to many countries every week and meet many new people. It is exciting for her! I will tell her it is your dream too :)

DeleteLearning three languages is a challenge, but it really is fun for those who love it, like you and me! I am currently learning French, German, and Japanese, the last one which is my ethnic background. Mastering different languages will open up more opportunities as you travel the world as an air stewardess. Keep up the good work Minxing-ya!

DeleteFabulous idea--learning Japanese, Chinese, and English! :) I'm in a similar position as you are, except I'm trying to learn Korean and Japanese. I know a few words and phrases, but overall I cannot speak those languages very well. I am fluent in English and Cantonese Chinese. My Mandarin Chinese isn't bad either. Nice to meet you! I'll look forward to your future posts!

DeleteMin Seong: Don't worry. Writing is difficult. Good writing is even more difficult. I am an English major, so I understand. However, since you enjoy writing, I believe it will not be as difficult for you as it is for others. Do you like reading also? I love reading immensely! If you read English books regularly, your English will improve naturally. :) Try to find a book or a short story you enjoy. Do you like Harry Potter? I am learning how to read Harry Potter in Chinese right now. ^_^ It is difficult, but also a lot of fun and I learn characters more quickly. Perhaps you can do the same by finding an English copy of Harry Potter or other book. Good luck! Fighting! ~WingYee

Fantastic ideas. I loved studying languages in college. I majored in English, Spanish, and Japanese. Korean has always been a language I was interested in taking up. Will have to keep Naju in my thoughts. It always helps that my brother is over there now helping to teach English.
